Our associates are our heart; customers our purpose; and success our reward.
“If you take care of your associates, they will take care of your customers and your business.” Something our founder, Harold Latrace, often said, and something everyone at Airline Hotels believes and upholds.
Our respectful, family-oriented workplace has become a key competitive advantage. With a loyal, strong workforce, our productivity is constant, while training and recruitment costs are reduced. In 2010, the hotel industry decreased by 14%, but we grew and added associates.
It’s the RITE attitude.
The RITE attitude means we work and make decisions according to our values:
R – Respect
I – Integrity
T – Teamwork
E – Entrepreneurship
We strive to create a work environment where associates can continue to develop respect for themselves and extend it to others. Our associates pledge to create honest work relationships and to replace judgment with acceptance. Our spirit of hospitality extends from guests, to coworkers, suppliers, owners and partners.
“We believe that a business should run like a family. Everyone should pitch in and have a chance to be heard.” Betty Anne Latrace-Henderson
To make sure everyone is heard, Airline Hotels regularly surveys associates and everyone meets at Town Halls. Associates’ feedback is addressed and we try to implement the good ideas that are offered.
“Treat others as you would like to be treated.”
The Golden Rule is pure gold to Airline Hotels.
