At Airline Hotels, we make a difference in the communities we live and work in. We don’t just want to, we do it. With 9 hotels in Canada and over 900 super smart associates that make this happen, we are thrilled that our guests are on board in helping us too!
Our newest initiative, the Makin’ a Difference program invites our guests to help us give back through the opportunity to decline housekeeping services, in lieu of a $5.00 charitable donation on their behalf!
Did you know that we wash over 1500 sheets and 2000 towels a day on average? That is a lot of water, soap and electricity being used! The Makin’ a Difference program not only helps our communities – it helps their environments too.
The Makin’ a Difference program launched in late May has raised over $2,000 in just one month!
So how did we decide who to support? Those 900 super smart associates were asked for their suggestions, and from those suggestions we selected three national charities from the many great ideas we received. We chose national charities as dollars raised from all hotels are being pooled together – so we can truly make a difference. The great charities we are supporting right now are:
Canadian Mental Health Association
Canadian Blood Services
Children’s Wish Foundation
